Quid pro quo的意思是“交换物”。给某人的东西，或帮某人做的事，但期望对方能够“礼尚往来”。
其实也蛮好记。这个词来自拉丁语，quid/quo=something，pro=for，字面意思就是something for something。
在英式口语里，quid=pound, 也指一英镑。
